Last night i put money down on a Remington 700 22-250. This is one of the guns I have always wanted to own. What ammo are you shooting? I shoot mostly Hornaday in my .308 and .223. i don't reload so i would like some factory ammo input. Also on the ammo how bad did it tear up the pelt?
-
Nice looking bobcat, congrats.
-
thanks guys!
KenPCPilot- have been shooting winchester 45gr. varmint rounds and my gun seems to like them! i havent shot much of any other brands, i have been kinda debating on if i wanna stick with them or try some hornaday. and for tearing up the pelt, A buddy of mine shot a coyote with these 45gr. winchesters thru my gun, and it put a 2" exit hole and a shot it at 80yrds. but this bobcat i shot @ 70yrds behind the front sholder and came out its chest and all it left was 2 burn hole :IBCOOL: idk if it was luck or what but i wasnt bitchin about it lol. i think with any animal the exit hole all depends on if you catch a bone on the pass through.
hope this is help full Ken
