Post by: huntingdog16 on December 15, 2012, 05:51:59 PM
I am a new hunter. I have never hunting  or have no expirience. I figured if I am going to start hunting. I should start with small game. I do not have my hunters education card. I was just wondering what kind of animals there is to huntin small game(squirrels, coyotes, bobcat,etc...) I would like to tips. The types of weapons to use. And where to hunt. Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank You.

You definitely have a whole lot of reading and studying to do before you can go hunting. Even hunting small game can be difficult.

Keep reading around our site, and follow along with how many other young hunters have slowly learned the sport.

Good luck.

Keep with it and don't give up on the sport. You will have some work ahead of you and it is very addicting. Enjoy the time in the woods and try not to concentrate on the harvesting but the experience and the knowledge you gain each time you go out. There is nothing better than getting out in the woods and away from the concrete.
