Title: Way cool fishing rods for backpacking and other tight fishing areas.
Post by: Boss .300 winmag on December 16, 2012, 09:41:24 AM: Ran into a guy at a bazaar selling these rods yesterday ( see link below), if I already didn't have a nice pack rod I would have bought one.

You can even pull rod back in half and cast that way since it is a stainless steel spring, really useful in brushy bank areas of rivers and lakes. :tup:

Post by: HORSEPOWER on December 16, 2012, 11:22:34 AM: They are awesome, I can put it in a pack bag and not worry about it getting broken. Casting definitely takes practice but it is amazing what you can do once you learn the tricks.
