Does anyone here still use the Magellan Triton 500 GPS and National Geographic TOPO to upload maps for the backcountry. If so, please let me know. I've had some serious issues lately downloading maps. I would be happy to reward anyone who could give me a hand getting some maps on my memory card for my GPS.

You must be talking about the online map download. I have the actual software loaded on my computer which no longer works. I have the NG TOPO washington 5 disc set.
Do you still have the disk that you can load straight to your GPS? If you do, any chance I can get a copy? I'm having fits trying to work with customer support to get my software to work. It's like they don't pay attention to my questions and just keep giving me answers to other problems I don't have.

Are these the USGS 24k maps Magellan sent you a copy of?

I had two disks that I had to load for maps.

I finally got the software to work, I had copies of NG TOPO v. 3.4.3, 4.0, and 4.4.1. I finally got it to work by loading 4.4.1 and then upgrading to 4.5.0. Talk about a frustrating practice. I'm going to load the whole state on my GPS now so I won't have to ever worry about it again.
Thanks for the help.
