Here's a great read from someone who wrote a blog post about Gun Control...

Interesting quote from the article referenced...
Over the last fifty years, with only one single exception (Gabby Giffords), every single mass shooting event with more than four casualties has taken place in a place where guns were supposedly not allowed.
I wish he had cited his source for this information, anyone know where it came from?

Another point is, most of the shooters don't survive mass killings. The only two I can think of off the top of my head are the Gabby Gifford shooter, and the Ft Hood shooter, and he barely lived. The point being, they are obviously suicidal. It's hard to stop someone who is willing to die to kill you. The same with suicide bombers, that's what makes them so deadly and effective.
We have to find a way to identify people in this state of mind before they carry out these atrocities if we really want to prevent these tragedies.

Looks like if given the time he may tell you.....
"EDIT2 After two straight days of responding to as many debate posts in the comments as possible, I’m fried, and hanging it up for Christmas. I’ll still be approving posts periodically, but that’s it for me as far as arguing (and it has rapidly turned into the same thing over and over again) This post has been read 150,000 times now, gotten national media attention, and been reposted all over the internet. Awesome. I was sincerely hoping people would share it, so thank you very much. Have a Merry Christmas. "
