My oldest just shoots fingers and is to young to hunt. How long has your kids been hunting? Are you a bow hunter? The reason I ask is if your a bow hunter you better plan on not hunting much yourself next year. Or finding a good spot for a blind or stand!

I have 2 boys that both hunt and have shot releases for awhile now. They both shoot my old Scott Little Bitty Goose, NSC with buckle straps. Great releases, very small, very adjustable. I used them for years and went to a Carter. Enjoy hunting with them, I sure love teaching, watching and being out with my 2. They both shot deer this year and it was awesome. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

After trying and trying multiple wrist wrap releases, it turns out my 11 year old is like me and likes the glove style better.  Says it gives him a more comfortable pull because he feels like he has a full hand grip on the bar and can pull easier.

Only downfall is it is a bit cumbersome when trying to handle things with that hand.  I do it fine but my hands are much bigger than his.  The style above is the one he has and is designed to NOT be used with a D-loop.  I've tried and tried to get the D-loop to work with it and it just doesn't.  This one is the one they make designed to work with a D-loop:
