Title: Scouting around Republic
Post by: jeepasaurusrex on September 12, 2008, 01:03:06 PM: Has anyone done any scouting around Republic? Namely the area west of Swan Lake RD.

Dad and I were hoping to get over there for a weekend and do some scouting but I do not think its going to happen. :dunno:

Post by: TeacherMan on September 16, 2008, 02:46:09 PM: Been bear and grouse hunting there all season. I have seen a few nice animals, mostly bears. Saw a nice 4pt whitetail last week there. In late Aug we saw 3 buck in there that would have scored over 150. If you want to talk more about it or are interested in a certain location mail me I will get back with you.
