just found a package on my porch... my much anticipated longbow made by my brother down in california just arrived. draws 53# at 29inch. looks and feels great. my hope is to take an elk with it this coming season so that i can have the hide tanned and ship it down to him for use on future bows.

i can post some better pics of it tomorrow. its white oak with walnut riser. just went to the nock point and put in an order for a half a dozen arrows, should get them tomorrow or next day. then time to start pokin holes in my new 3d target. just realized my porch is covered and wraps around half the house. think im going to drill a couple holes in it to put my target up on porch, then i can shoot when its dumping rain and still stay dry

Good idea, you will have to use feather fletching and they don't do well in the wet.

FYI Tree Killer makes some custom arrows that would b OK for your bow. :chuckle:
