I to have read good reviews on it.  I had the version imported by CD, great little shotgun, mine was the youth version and I was very pleased.  Ny hunting partner needed a light 20 for quil so he's using it.  I understand the Weatherby has some changes made to make them even more reliable, and they have great customer support.  I've reccomended the SA-08 to my BinL for a nice light upland gun that will work well in the duck blind also.

I like mine! I've killed a bunch of ducks and pheasants with mine. Rain, mud, and salt, it has handled my abuse well. I've run a few hundred shells threw it at the trap range too! The only problems i've had are operator errors as it the first auto I've owned.

I have one I bought about 2 years ago and I love mine.  I don't use it as much as I'd like to but that's life sometimes.  If I were looking for another one I'd deffinately buy another.   :twocents:

I have commented on the Weatherby SA08 several times on this site. It is a great gun for the price. I have used it for three years now for everything from clay pigeons, ducks, geese, turkeys, and simply blasting away. It is light, well balanced, well machined, and easy to clean for a gas operated shotgun. It is also a light kicking gun so you can shoot it all day. I have the synthetic stock and I'd like to get one with the Walnut stock. I've fired well over 1,000 rounds through it, mostly reloads, with no problems. I can load 2-3/4" inch and 3" in any order and it handles them nicely. My only complaint is the lack of after-market parts for it but I highly recommend it.
