Title: Hunting Snowshoe
Post by: sdiguana on December 25, 2012, 11:15:57 AM
Hi All,

I am looking to go snowshoe hare hunting, but I'm new to hunting so I don't know how best to find a hunting ground. Coming out of Everett.

I've been out towards Cle Elum for elk tracking, I'd figure there's bunnies out there too, but if i can find something in a bit closer, all the better.

Going to be taking them from walking them up,  either 22LR or shot.

cheers,

iguana

Don't see very many Snowshoes any more.  Hunting and loss of habitat nearly exterminated them years ago in the Columbia Basin, and they never really recovered.

Well that is certainly a shame. :(

Little far for you... but they're all over the N.E. corner.
