Title: Trail cams for turkeys
Post by: MerriamMagician on December 25, 2012, 02:26:31 PM
Anyone use trail cams for turkey hunting? This is my first year using cams, Iv had good success with mule deer pics and want to set my cameras up for turkeys this spring. I'm going to set them up in flydown areas, strut zones, and along logging roads and trails where they generally retreat to midday. I'll probably get them up three weeks before the season starts. If you have any special tips or cool pictures of your own please share.

I've never specifically targeted turkeys, but have captured some birds on old logging roads in the spring as they work from roosting areas toward feeding areas in the morning.
