If you're talking about GMU 249 and Being names Alpine Lakes it is not confined to that unit. That particular Wilderness Area opens up for the high hunt with rifles, muzzleloaders on monday.

That is correct. More specifically the entire GMU 249 Alpine is wilderness area. Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Therefore it is entirely open for the high hunt with rifles next week.

bring a bb gun to shoot the mice at night or they will eat all your trail mix and leave only the raisins. Right Sniper :chuckle:

We had that happen this year as well.  Darn mice climbed in my cousins pack and into a barely open compartment to get all the peanuts out in just a few hours.  Pretty funny on my end.
