Title: Lake Kachess
Post by: arthury on December 29, 2012, 01:31:59 PM: I would like to take my son out for a coyote hunt in the Lake Kachess area.
Is that a decent area for a first timer in the winter?
We intend to hike in on snow-shoes and glass for them.

Are there other areas east of Snoqualmie Summit that are decent for a coyote hunt?

Post by: Dan-o on December 29, 2012, 01:36:18 PM: I'm no expert, but I'd consider going east 30-40 miles. Lake Kachess would seem like a tough yote hunt about now.

Would be an adventure for sure, but I'm with the other guys who said go east another 30-40 miles.
