This month The Contest Theme will be Winter Hunting. It doesn't matter if the photo is of Late Big Game Hunting, Waterfowl or Predator Hunting Photos. Please be mindful of submitting photos that are Respectful of the Game. By this I mean, please do not submit photos of Carnage, Blood and gore photos of animals that show the animal in stages of butchering or photos of dead animals laying in the back of a Pick up truck with their tongues sticking out and blood all over them.
The Photo of the month Rules are:
1. Photos must be No Larger than 800 X 600 or 600 X 800 depending on Orientation.
2. Photos must be taken by the entrant
3. No Photo Manipulation is allowed except for Normal Editing, cropping, sharpening etc. Please do not enter HDR photos because they will be disqualified!
4. Photo Must Pertain to the Current Months Theme.
5. Photo Must be taken within the last calendar year.
6. Only One Entry per month. So make sure your entry is the one you want! The First Photo you enter Will be Considered your entry!
7. Winner of this month's contest is not eligible for the next month's contest
8. Photos entered in previous months contests are not eligible for any other months contests.
9. Washington state photo subjects will be given preferences in case of a tie for judging.
10. By submitting your photo in this contest you are authorizing H-W to use your photo at their discretion in the forum, on the Front Page, and in H-W Magazine
11. Monthly Photo Winners will be automatically entered into the Photo of the Year contest
12. Moderators May Enter any Contest because the Members of this site Will Pick the Winner!
13 Entry Deadline is Midnight of January 28th.!
14. The Winner of the contest shall be responsible to email Bearpaw your shipping information to receive your prize of a Hunting-Washington window decal!
Note Due to the number of photos that are submitted lately that are OVERSIZED. From now on we will not be re-sizing photo entries that are too big! Unless you PM or email us that you can not figure out to do so and request that we fix the photo for you! It is unfair to the other members who follow the Rules for us to continue to Re-size photos without the request! If the photo remains too large it will Simply Be Disqualified!

Gorgeous picture country girl! I have a similar one from bird hunting this last week but I'm not sure how to post it. There were some beautiful dun rises while it was really cold and clear out. Now back to rainy and cloudy. Thanks everyone for sharing photos!!

Mountain goat pic taken with my iPhone! I'm not sure how to check sizing so hopefully its within the rules.
1. Click on your photo and it will get bigger.
2. Now Right Click on your photo and select View Image Info.
You will see that your Photo info is: 640px × 960px (so it needs to be re-sized to 800 on the longest side. That will bring the short side down to less than 600 also.
