Got to fish rainbows last week north of anchorage. The salmon spawn is winding down but there are still some absolute pigs in these creeks. Ended the day going 14 for 19 on rainbows. All the fish that I landed were over 16" the largest was 28."

Man, what pretty fish they are. Thanks for posting.

wow what a beutiful array of fish up there.
I could totally live life day after day on the rivers up there year in and year out.
-
Those are about the prettiest rainbows as God makes.
-
Did you get a pic of the 28 incher, if so, i would love to see the picture.
-
what were you swinging in there faces'? looks like alotta fun. If you ever need someone to go with you keep me in mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the rainbows that I got were on flesh. SInce the salmon spawn is winding down theres more flesh in the river than eggs. I did get a few on eggs but flesh has been a lot better of late.
The 28 incher is the top pic. You can see how big it is by comparing the others to it. That is the same rod in all three pics.
