Title: Whiskey River Salmon Marinade
Post by: Shadow Cat on August 01, 2007, 10:09:05 PM
This marinade perfectly matches the succulent, sweet, smoky flavor of cedar grilled salmon, and it’s easy to prepare.

Ingredients: (per 1 lb salmon filet or steak)
1 cup barbeque sauce
1 jigger whiskey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon of honey
1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions:
Blend all of the above ingredients together. Place salmon in shallow glass/ceramic dish, pour marinade over fish, then cover and refrigerate at least one hour. Place salmon on cedar grilling plank and grill until fish flakes easily with fork.
