Title: Speer Deepcurl loads?
Post by: elkinrutdrivemenuts on January 02, 2013, 02:24:12 PM
I picked up some 140 grain .264 and 225 gr .338 bullets for my 264 win mag and 338 rem ultra mag and speer does not have any published load data?! They have a warning on their website that these bullets require special load data that speer will provide.  I called speer and they for have a time frame for when they expect to release loads for my calibers.  Anyone have any ideas?  I can't imagine these bullets are so different that using starting load data for a similar weight and style bullet would hurt?  Who knows though.

thats the first i've heard of "special load data' for those bullets.. and they been available for a while. they are still a jacketed lead core projectile, I cant see them having a problem with startign data, but I havent done any research on it..
