Title: Had a solid shoot
Post by: Dhoey07 on January 03, 2013, 07:58:26 AM: Got to the launch and hour or so before light, waited till we could see a bit and busted ice for the first half hour or so. Got the boat launched and rammed and busted our way through the rest of the ice to open water. There weren't a ton of birds, but really consistent. Picked up about 12:30 a couple short of a limit.

Where in the world were you with all the snow?

Wasn't too cold, low 30's, steady 15mph wind. Actually a pleasant late december eastside shoot
