Title: Turret?
Post by: bullcanyon on January 03, 2013, 02:20:55 PM
Like to add a target turret to my vari x3 4.5x14 scope.  Not looking for one custom matched to my bullet.  I know that I'll shoot some different bullets so I don't want to be limited to one load.  Any recommendations?  Kenton Or Stoney point any good?

Thanks

Kenton turrets are nice because you can have them ballistic matched for your gun. I have been looking at doing the longrange hunter turret on my monarch. I have some buddy's that use the Stoney points on there vx 2's and love them. Just have to have a ballistic sheet made up for you gun. Stoney points are cheap but with Kenton you can get a custom turret so it kinda a toss up. If it were me I would go with the Kenton turret. But since you are going to be playing around with different bullets go with the Stoney points.

You can get a CDS turret in 1/4 MOA clicks.
