I was at Mary's Pistols in Tacoma today making a delivery and was surprised that they still had AR and AK mags in stock at the normal price. No guns, but at least they still have the mags. They normally have over 300 different models of guns on display and now they are well below 200. They haven't marked their prices up, so they just can't keep anything in stock.

I had a guy I don't know get mad because I would not sell him some AR mags for $20.
A friend knows I am going to let some go soon. (30 bucks for unopened mags seems fair in this market.) But he was furious. :dunno:
I can see $1500 for an AR if when you can't even get parts.
But $6k, WOW. I would do a buy back for that price today!

They have to know where they are all at first and pass laws to do such. So they either know where they are all at or they make you a criminal and weed you out one at a time by not abiding by those laws.

The government can't disarm the people until they eliminate the 2nd Amendment. If that ever happens we WILL have a civil uprising. Until then, the lawmakers can/will do whatever they can to make it a pain in the butt for people to own firearms.
I think their next tactic will be to place "fees" on anything firearm related and make it insanely expensive. Not that guns aren't expensive now. :bash: :bash: :bash: A cheap AR15 a month ago was $700, now, that same AR is going for $1600! :bash:
We need a true conservative president back in office to get gun prices to come back down.

You are naïve. I am willing to bet that the current AR will not be legal to purchase in 6 months, let alone be available to purchase. Gun control will be pushed through Congress faster than most people can fathom. (Trust me when I say that I hope I am wrong)
Read Feinstein's bill that will be introduced to the senate on Jan. 22th. Even if half of the bill is accepted by a majority we are f$&ked.

Read the primary Gun Control bill that will almost certainly be introduced to the Senate on Jan. 22nd by Dianne Feinstein. If accepted by Congress ALL AR's (this is a TON of different weapons, many that you would never even think of as AR's) will be forfeited to the government when you die. They will not be allowed to be sold or passed on to anyone. Also, every single AR will be registered with the Feds and a $200 tax on each weapon will be paid. Anyone that doesn't register their AR is a criminal for having it in their possession. I hope the bill is either completely thrown out or heavily modified, but chances are there are going to be some sweeping changes in our gun laws very soon.
