Around bait stations?
A couple were the rest were along the trails. The snow is deep, so the deer are trail bound. I just walked slow along the trails. Saw some elk too. Good day in the woods.

That top set is a dandy!
-
My guess is he was rubbing on pine but more likely he lives in a dark hole n don't come out much during day light. Lots of bucks like that between colville n ione

Nice! How deep is the snow/how high up?

Nice! How deep is the snow/how high up?
Snow was pretty deep 18-24" had to use snow machine to get to the trails I wanted to look at. Around 3000' deer are all pushed out of high country now and are in wintering locations. Problem is too many dang cats around! The dark horned buck scores right at 150" only 1.5 " of deduction. He's really symmetrical. I think he is young. I will be looking for him next year.
