The shot was around 100 not for sure. She was closer but came on the side of us and ran back up the rocks

I am suprised you did not hurt the pelt more. Bt's are whicked on pelts. I ran a 25-06 for years and took many yotes with it. I ran the 100 bt's as well and they blew some nasty holes in critters.

Not jacking the tread but what is this about thumbhole stock ban? I have a permanent hand injury and really need to use pistol grip/thumbhole stocks.

Dang cat caught me off guard, it was chasing after a grouse the guys shoot at earlier ... Crazy times, I will never forget it....

Now I want one.. That's my dream animal for sure..
