So, forgive me for being a little short on basics but basically my brother in law in Illinois has picked up a Gen 3 Glock, full size ( 4 inch? 5?) shooter in .45acp. I forget which model he has. The problem is with all the concers out there and current legislation pending in Il law, he can't find any hollow points for defensive rounds, only ball ammo. I'm going to pick up a box or two of defensive rounds but don't know much about Glocks. Any advice on what runs good?

www.grafs.com (http://www.grafs.com) See if grafs delivers to Illinois. I use Hornady for my 10mm. I think any name brand will run through his gun with zero problems. Glocks are reliable even though some guys think they're ugly. I've pretty much always carried a Glock.

It is a 21, gen 3.....
Mine, no. 29 sf. Doesn't matter, good ammo and an excellent gun.

I picked him up a box of Winchester 185gr Silvertips and a box of 185gr Z-Max zombie rounds....
That way, whether the threat is from the living or dead, he is covered.

I have some Winchester Ranger Talons in the safe. I don't have a full box, but I'm sure I could donate enough to fill a mag. Lemme know.

Appreciate the offer....he will be set with the boxes I've got for him.
