I drew a cow elk permit for North River MU 658 this year. I live close to this unit but rarely hunt there. If anyone has any info to share that would help I would reatly appreciate it.

id go talk to some of the land owners down by the airport in raymond. they always have problems with the elk down there.

Just be aware that side of the highway is a firearm restriction area so you'd have to use a muzzleloader or shotgun.

Be prepared for locked gates. Weyerhauser sold half of to Hancock. They have it gated in the good areas. Walk in only. Spent Saturday down there.
