Has anyone used or heard of anyone using the HECS hunting suit that blocks the electromagnetic energy generated by your heartbeat?
-
:dunno: Huh? :dunno:
-
Check out the video on their website http://www.hecsllc.com/ (http://www.hecsllc.com/)

I have found that game animals are attracted to mine. I definitely do not want to block their ability to pick up on the electromagnetic energy generated by my heartbeat.

Sounds far fetched to me. I think there is probably a placebo effect in some tests.

I've been using one and they work great. Just ordered a new one.

How would you know it works?

How do you prove it works.

How do you prove it doesnt work.

I believe someone else spending their money on it will make it work for me. I am golden now.

These guys must be wearing these suits, or perhaps their hearts have stopped in fear. LOL

Do the suits stop the smell of :pee: too? :chuckle:

I bought one last summer and wore it throughout September, November and December archery seasons and continue to wear it into coyote and elk hunting now in January.
I feel that I've been around the block enough with bowhunting to have a pretty good feel for how to expect an animal to react up close. My opinion is that the suit worked as good as or better than I expected at helping me stay undetected. I was closer to bugling bulls in the timber than ever. I was successful on stalks that I figured I'd get busted on in the open grasslands. I wasn't picked off at 500 yards by a wily old muley doe like normally happens with no explanation. What I experienced in my 50-60 days of hunting in WA and ID while wearing it thus far has convinced me that the idea is not nearly as kooky as it sounds, and that it may actually work.
There's no way to prove it worked, obviously, but I think it may have made a big difference at a few key times this year, because I was hunting the same way I have for 27 years with different results.
I liked that the fabric was a super-lightweight mesh. It was perfect for the heat we had this year in September, and it doesn't create any bulk while wearing it in the winter.
My final conclusion is that when I wear this suit out I will buy another, and it shows no signs of wear, yet.

Thanks for the input everyone.

protects you from rattlesnake bites too :chuckle:

Between work and hunting, I average about 50 hrs/wk outdoors. I know how animals in my area normally act. A couple years ago, I got more aggressive in the way I hunt. Wearing the HECS suit has allowed me to get uncomfortably close to animals. Here in eastern MT, there is very little cover. I've had animals bed down within feet. I got 10' from a moose during bow season. I was able to take my pack off, dig my camera out and take several pictures.
Shirt/pants/headnet for $100 is cheap enough to at least give it a shot.

Didn't they have to pay out a class action lawsuit because their gear did nothing that it claimed?

for hunting sharks?
seriously, I'd put this in my swimming shorts to keep the sharks at bay

No suit for my camera

I have to wonder if electromagnetic fields trigger that 6th sense in animals/ or us for that matter. :dunno:

The small amount of electrice energy from our beating hearts is not strong enough to travel across the field. I see th placebo effect because if yu spend money on something, you'll pay more attention to it. Big hoax, I think.

I was done hunting by 6:00 and I got it all on film. I was so close, I narrowly missed getting two birds with one shot.
