Title: Oysters and Clams
Post by: Carl on January 11, 2013, 03:58:39 PM
Has anyone had any experience going after clams and oysters?  I dug Razor clams last year and it’s a blast and can't wait to go again.  This time out, I want to get some Manila, Littlenecks, etc. and oysters.

There are “maps” of public areas on DWFW.  But first-hand experience would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Carl

Steamers are easy to get if you go to a beach that has them.  The WDFW maps are pretty useful for that.  Oysters are also easy, but I have found they get pretty picked over (unless you like giant oysters, then it is easy).

WSU, a load of steamers would be perfect to go into a Low Country Boil!   :IBCOOL:
