Title: Weed wacker mud motor

(I'm just assuming you mean something like those shallow-water swamp motors.) Might take a little ingenuity, but that's the fun part-for me anyway! :tup:

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on January 14, 2013, 05:13:55 PM: That's cool! Post pics if you get something built. If you decide to go with a battery, I'd look into those Optima-type sealed batteries, so you don't have the lead-acid fumes in the boat.

The e-trolling motor didn't have enough power and with the batt. very heavy and the 3 hp outbooard was too powerful and heavy, at 17lbs this is perfect.

Looks like a planing hull to me--maybe if you didn't eat so many jelly donuts.... :chuckle: :chuckle:
