Title: Newbie question
Post by: szairborne on January 16, 2013, 07:51:00 AM
From what I read you can hunt coyotes year round with either a big game or small game license. So my question is if i bow a bow permit for deer, am I allowed only to use a bow for coyotes? Thats cool with me but I have a new rifle I would like to try out if possible.

Thanks in advance
Shayne

An archery deer tag only limits a hunter to archery for deer.

I plan on using a call and setting up like i would for deer, high up in a tree. Would be great practice and good for scouting for next year too.

And don't forget to post pics......folks on this forum (me included) love to see some dead yotes.

Happy hunting, good luck, and be safe.
