Anyone tried one of these out yet?
-
I have had a cdl in 270 for about five years, great gun,
-
Did you bed the stock at all?
-
I have bedded a few.
-
Glass or piller? The action or the whole thing? Just wonderinf because im foing to buy one soon
-
I have done both. It's a worth while investment.
-
So they all needed it pretty bad then?
-
They are wood guns, therefore a bedding job and floating it may not make it shoot BETTER, but it will make it shoot consistently. Bedding it will never make it shoot worse....well not a good bedding job anyhow. Bed it to the lug. Pillars make it fool proof, as it eliminated any change in tension.....but a good glass job should do well.
