They are wood guns, therefore a bedding job and floating it may not make it shoot BETTER, but it will make it shoot consistently. Bedding it will never make it shoot worse....well not a good bedding job anyhow. Bed it to the lug. Pillars make it fool proof, as it eliminated any change in tension.....but a good glass job should do well.
