Title: Holster for 1911
Post by: TeacherMan on January 20, 2013, 09:51:03 PM: Picked up a full size Ruger SR1911 .45 ACP and I'm wanting to use it as a carry pistol. Recommendations on holsters? I'm wanting it to be accessible but comfortable. Nice if it holds an extra clip also. Links are more than welcome ;)

I have one on order with some straps for iwb if I'm so inclined to do so. I have a couple holsters from them which I highly recommend. This will be the first for a 1911, which happens to be the SR1911.

Post by: Wacenturion on January 20, 2013, 11:56:19 PM: Google Milt Sparks....call and order an Versa Max-2. The VM-2 is a strong side only, dual purpose, inside-the-waistband holster. Probably a 6 month wait but worth it. :twocents:
