Title: WA Sherrifs Not Required to Release Gun Info as Public Disclosure by Law
Post by: pianoman9701 on January 25, 2013, 03:29:59 PM
I posted this in an ongoing thread but wanted to make sure you guys are aware that we have a state law which says that counties are not required to furnish gun registration and CPL information as public information. The sheriff of Clark Co., Sheriff Lucas just returned my call (thank you Sheriff), and let me know about this law, one which does not exist in OR, by the way. I further asked him if he would be inclined to furnish the federal government with this information if requested and he told me he's not going to furnish information which is not required to be furnished by state law. Very cool, Sheriff Lucas. You will continue to receive my political support!

I believe that everyone in this state should be asking their local County Sheriff the same questions.
