This year i'm going to buy a traditions Evolution muzzle loader for my mom and sister to use for blacktail. I have never used or even touched a muzzle loader. What will i need and any load brands to try. Any good reads for information. Any advice is nice

I started a few years ago and found that the powder pellets are easier to use.  I would reccommend starting with them.  As far as bullets I have heard good and bad from most of them.  The only I would personally not use are the lead powerbelts.  Heard more negative feedback than others.  Things I would reccommend would be speed loaders, nipple wrench, capper, extra nipple, nipple pick, and if the gun doesn't already have them some fiber optic sights.  I'm sure others will have different suggestions but I think that's a good start

I own a Traditions Evolution and have had no problems at all. Shot a nice 3 point Mule deer this year with it.
