Mine says "Licence to carry concealed pistol"   so would LTCCP be the "correct abbreviation" ?  :dunno:

Actually, I just got mine in the mail today and all it says is

Actually, I just got mine in the mail today and all it says is

CPL?

Mine says "State of Washington License to carry concealed pistol".  I sell guns on a daily basis, and all the ones I see say the same thing.  :dunno:

The Washington State Department of Licensing calls it a CPL, and they are the agency that issues them.

CPL is simply nomenclature for the term Concealed Pistol License.
I know of no place in the WAC where CPL is used in lieu of fully spelling it out.

And I have never understood why the the license differs in terminology than the law. 
Not that I care, really.   :chuckle:

CPL is how it has always been refered to. Pulled mine out and it reads: State of Washington License to carry concealed pistol.

You can request this information by completing a Firearms Record Certification Request. When completed, take the form and your photo identification to a local law enforcement agency.

How do I restore my rights?
 
You must petition the court where you were convicted, or petition the superior court where you live.

Do I need to register my firearms in Washington State?
 
No.

How do I transfer ownership of my pistol or revolver?
 
There isn’t a requirement to transfer ownership. However, both parties may complete a Pistol/Revolver Private Disposition/Transfer form voluntarily to report the change in ownership. You won’t receive a notification after we receive the form.
