Title: frog toggs?
Post by: WAcoyotehunter on September 23, 2008, 08:29:32 AM
I got SOAKED on Sunday and decided to retire my old raingear.  i bought a pair of Forg Toggs yesterday...they only come in a few colors (I chose black); does anyone have any experience with this raingear?   They're lightweight and seem to be very packable, not sure about durability. ?  :dunno:

Echo, what ICEMAN stated, they won't last for hunting, first thorn bush, or twig for that matter there they go ripped and useless.  Thought something similar for weight saving but they lasted about - zero time...  Fishing they also suck, they hold all the beautiful smells forever...

I carry them as purely lightweight emergancy cover.  I wouldn't hunt in em.  For fishing etc. they're OK.  Not greatest but decent.
