:chuckle: No!!!! If you must know. I like helping my buddy's out to save them money by butchering there animals. I just like to have plenty of paper around. It took me 5 years to use up the old round, but the store I bought it at don't sell them anymore. I found rolls but they don't have wax on them. I need the paper with the wax on one side. Thank

I bought my last roll at Costco.

Using saran wrap is right on the money! Man does it make a difference. My uncle raises beef and they do that on everything they butcher and the meat seems to stay fresher for a lot longer, doesn't seem to freezer burn and doesn't lose moisture. His butcher says it's critical when storing meat in self defrosting freezers. I've also started using it with fish. I buy the commercial rolls from cash & carry or the business Costco in Fife (same places I buy waxed freezer paper, by the way).

Us too.
Two layers of plastic wrap, followed by waxed putcher paper, folded to stop air movement and taped down. Steaks last years and years and years this way. No better food prep. Beats vacuum packers this way. You can write on the package, they stack nice in the freezer, and they do not crack and lose their seal like vacuum packed foods can.

If you like to cook ya gotta check out Cash & Carry. A lot of their stuff is cheaper than Costco and it's a lot less crazy.
That's where most restaurants get their stuff. Great place to get spices to. I get all of mine there for my rubs, way cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.
