So when it comes to taking the time to snap a photo or two I am horrible! The other day a guy at work called me out saying "you always claim to shoot coyotes but you never have any pics!" Kind of rubbed me wrong so I have been packing my phone lately and if its not a chore to get to them I have been snapping an ATL pic and sending it to him just as a kiss my behind kind of thing but seeing as how I don't post much on here I figured I would share a few.

This is one is my crown jewel! Shot him on Saturday. I have stashed a lot of dogs with the plan of circling back to skin out and have soft tanned but at the end of the day a 3 or 4 mile circle never sounds appealing but for this dude I made the treck. I dropped him off with Ric Shirrod at All Thats Wild Taxidermy! Super pumped! Also very hard to take a timed pic when you are hunting the burned face of the moon! propping the camera was interesting to say the least!

Great pics. I might even recognize a couple spots. I like hunting that side. Great going. Of course everyone thinks the know your spot. Truth is they look alike. Big dog though and nice pelt.

Thats some killing right there....nice work

It looks like you've been takin pictures of road kill to me and then throwing a gun in there to give yourself the credit

And comments like this is why people don't post pics.

Nice work! The picture of the dog with no lower jaw reminded me of year ago hunting mule deer with my dad. He was on a stand on the other side of a knob when. BOOB. So I stroll over to his side of the hill and ask him how big was his deer? He said no deer, just an ol' coyote. There he laid. I ask him where he hit him since I didn't see any damage. He said right in the tip of his nose. I rolled him over and the whole right side of his head was missing. I guess the last thing to go through ol' Mr. coyote was a 165 gr. .280 slug. :chuckle:

I've been givin this guy crap since middle school, so I think it's ok for me to say thing like this. Is it just me or does nobody have a sense of humor anymore?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I just figured it out! This place is really going downhill fast! I thought it was getting *censored* around here when your brother joined but now its full on flamer land! Hey why don't you find a better avatar pick and get rid of that dinky idaho buck!

Great job...........what kind of accuracy are getting from the .243 with the 58gr VMax ??????Is it holding up at 4oo yards?????

I didn't think they were gonna work with the 9 1/8 twist in my model 7 predator but they shoot great! No jacket seperation or any other problems. 0.5" at 100yds if I do my part. My 22-250 hasn't left the safe in years. I have not shot it at 400yds from a bench but I have whacked a few past 350 and my farthest was with my .243 at 427yds. They are NOT pelt friendly!
-
Sounds good, I may give those a try......not worried about pelts, just want dead dogs instead of dead deer this time of year.
-
Good grief.
Save a few for the rest of us.
-
Said tongue in cheek, by the way. Nice work.

Hard to beat them for the price! I stocked up on them a few years ago when they were on sale for $18 for a box of 100. I don't know what they are these days though. One thing about the .243 is coyotes don't EVER run away! It is bang flop! You can hit them in the toe and they are toast! :chuckle:

Thanks everyone! My new years resolution this year is to take more pictures (real pics not just ATL cell pics) so hopefully I will have some better ones to show.
