Ok- I admit the Indians got royally screwed. Life sucks- mother nature is a bitch. I should have been given a million bucks and a gun library on my 21st birthday too.
Not a good idea to flame over the horizon without a fair shake to the road hunters..that said...
I have witnessed enough fresh killed animals left laying beside the road (summer time) and saw the trucks of pot shooters drive by..took pictures..turned em in and told it was their legal right. Am of the opinion the 'prevention of erosion' from vehicle traffic has its merits. Is it a PITA..yes.
I would be the first to admit road closures suck but at the same time keep out the riff raff. Not just a tribal issue any more. The tribes have stepped up.. at times. Now seems others have decided to use public lands as a waste dump. Dispose of your friggin washer and dryer ..and bags of diapers at the dump please..
Isn't the tribes that are a problem any more. Those who felt slighted by the year round free-for-all in years past have decided they deserve the same lenience. It is a shame it has come to this but agree with your opposition on HB 1495.
