My cats get between 8-10 per year.  I was thinking about renting them out!  :chuckle:

I seen an attachment at sunbirds last week that kinda shocked me.

It was something that somehow attached to your exaust pipe on your car, then it goes on a garden hose, you just shove the hose into the hole. Turn the car on.. No more moles....
It made me chuckle.

Is that even legal?

Dunno but all that stuff and poisons etc. is a gimmick.  If they do work some its just a temporary fix.  The only one that had a little success were the poison zinc pills and solar yard sonic stake.  Not worth $.  Gets a couple weeks at best. Old school tried n true is the best.

Might as well hire Bill Murray as your yard maintenance man.

Well your pumping carbon monoxide directly into the tunnels, should travel through any opening that the tunnels lead to right? I thought it would be pretty effective if it was legal.

Funny, mu cat is a mole killing machine.  She wiped them out of my yard and now works on the neighbors.  They occasionally bring a sack of kitty treat by for her.

Unfortunately she has made friends with the deer and lets them munch on everything.

Haven't tried this myself, but a couple of guys at work use light bulbs.  Dig the dirt away from the mound, stick a cheapo bulb down there, bust it with the handle of your shovel, and recover the hole.  Apparently moles have very soft and thin skin and a poor clotting ability, so they crawl thru the glass, get cut up and bleed out.  Thought it was an interesting idea.

Wow, that makes me want to order up about 60 tons of glass to mix in with my topsoil before I plant my yard this spring. Lay it in about three inches down then topcoat the entire area with clean soil. Hmmmmmmmmm.

I wonder how much flintstones recycle yard is selling their crushed glass. Can't be much more than gravel cause I know of a few folks who use it as a base layer for driveways and under parking apron pours...

They pretty much give it away.

 :yeah:

I'm thinking about building a mole blaster.  My yard is getting destroyed, and they are getting close to the gravel driveway.  Big muddy messes in the middle of my driveway, yeah, that's what I need!   :nono: :nono:
