Just wondering what filters some of the folks are running on their lenses if any? Is there one you leave on all the time or do you change them from situation to situation? I have a 40D with a 28-135 kit lens and it has a polarized filter on it. Should I take it off and run a different one?

Polarizing filter for me.

Let me change what I said, I have a polarized filter not a UV. Thanks Jackelope just realized the mistake when you posted that.
Is that on your lens all the time?

I use http://www.amazon.com/Kaesemann-Circular-Polarizer-Multi-Resistant-Coating/dp/B0000BZLAC (http://www.amazon.com/Kaesemann-Circular-Polarizer-Multi-Resistant-Coating/dp/B0000BZLAC) on mine when doing lanscape shots.

i have a circular polarizer that i leave on most of the time especially when doing landscape and outdoor stuff which is most of what i take pics of. i like the circular polarizer because i can change the amount of polarization depending on the shot

Some shots with that polarizer, thats elkoholic123 and M-ray in picture 2.

Wow! Very nice phool!

I like using the ND filter when taking river pics. Kind of neat to inside the water to reduce the glare.
Phool - the first pic the Redondo pier?
