Title: Winston GMU question
Post by: diesel737 on February 11, 2013, 08:44:48 PM: Does anyone know if the big yellow gate is open where Winston Creek Road meets Perkins Road? I believe its a WeyCo gate, but its been a few years since I have been there. Was thinking about going for a drive to check that area out. If you hunt Winston, where do you drive in?

Post by: Eli346 on February 12, 2013, 05:03:55 AM: That is all Port Blakely now so no vehicle traffic at all; even during hunting season. You can walk in but it's about 3 miles in on the flats before you even get to where you may start seeing elk. Deer might be low.
