This months topic is a bit different than we have had in the past. :) The topic of the month for February 2013 is: Getting the Spouse involved in Outdoor Recreation!
Please Be Mindful of the Contest Rules which are:
The Photo of the month Rules are:
1. Photos must be No Larger than 800 X 600 or 600 X 800 depending on Orientation.
2. Photos must be taken by the entrant
3. No Photo Manipulation is allowed except for Normal Editing, cropping, sharpening etc. Please do not enter HDR photos because they will be disqualified!
4. Photo Must Pertain to the Current Months Theme.
5. Photo Must be taken within the last calendar year.
6. Only One Entry per month. So make sure your entry is the one you want! The First Photo you enter Will be Considered your entry!
7. Winner of this month's contest is not eligible for the next month's contest
8. Photos entered in previous months contests are not eligible for any other months contests.
9. Washington state photo subjects will be given preferences in case of a tie for judging.
10. Winning Photos will be posted on the Front Page
11. Monthly Photo Winners will be automatically entered into the Photo of the Year contest
12. Moderators May Enter any Contest because the Members of this site Will Pick the Winner!
13. Entry Deadline is Midnight of The Last Day of the Month!
14. The Winner of the contest shall be responsible to email Bearpaw your shipping information to receive your prize!
Please Note the following New Rule!
15. January 1, 2013, we will No Longer go through the entries and Re-size photos that do not follow the Contest Rules about Photo size! The only time we will do so is if it is requested by the entrant because they do not know how to do so on their own. That request must be posted in the entry or requested by either a PM or an email. It is Unfair to the members that follow the size rules for us to continue re-sizing on our own. So from now on, if the photo is too big and we have not been asked for help the photo will be Disqualified!

I'll start it off with a photo of my wife that I took. I've been teaching her photography and she's having a ball out there taking Eagle photos. :)

Rough year for us in 2012. Two major eye surgeries and countless minor ones made getting out a challenge. Getting on target was even a bigger challenge. Never one to quit Lorraine made the best of her WY opportunity.

I don't see a spouse anywhere in the photo, so this photo does not fit the Contest Criteria and will not be eligible for voting. Please reconsider quickly and submit another photo!

That's pretty cool! I've been north a few times, but have never gotten to see that. One of these days I hope!

Hiking Rattlesnake Ledge January 2013, he wanted to be "one with nature" :chuckle: - before we got together, he was into a whole lot of different things in life, he hated Washington. It's a COMPLETELY different story now and he loves to credit me with his love for the outdoors. From addicted to fishing, now trying to get into bow hunting, and hiking ever single weekend since the start of the new year.

Is that where he camped at?
