I may need to use a Spokane area butcher to get moose meat cooled down before transporting it on down to Walla Walla. Does anyone know of a good butcher shop that would provide me cold storage just to get my meat cold? Thanks, Brian.

I believe Crown Meats on Northwest Blvd would hook you up, they are very hunter friendly, family run business.

Might try Eggers Meats, they'll do you an awesome job. Can be spendy but worth it.

There's a guy is Spokane that has a mobile operation... can't remember his name though. I picked up one of his cards at the General Store on Sprague. He came out to the house, Loaded up the deer in his trailer, butchered and packaged an entire deer (including about 45 pounds of ground) in under two hours, and the bill was only like $75-$100.

The Meat Block in Ritzville makes awesome jerky and summer sausage. I have taken several deer there and just got my elk back from this year.

Don't do Sonnenberg's. They'll "misplace" meat. I got burnt 3 years in a row and I'll never be back. It's a shame too because at one time they were fabulous and they do have the best jerkey. ARSHOLES!!!!
Crown takes WAAAAAAAAAYYYY to long. My friend waited 2 months.
Eggers is AWESOME if one is full call another branch, there's a few. The South hill store is great. Great Jerkey. Never had them do a whole deer but know those who have. I have them jerk and grind the trim for me also recommend the summer sausage  . They did do my whole bear this year and the bacon and hams couldn't be better.
Dunham & Son's is good too but a little slow. They make little "peperoni" sticks, you pick the flavor. I can't remember what they call it but it's great. They'll let you try samples. They guarantee you get YOUR meat.
You'll spend $150.00 or so with jerkey and sausage at either store. It's less for straight cut & wrap. They charge per deer rather per pound too, which leads me to believe that you get your animal, but like I said Dunham guarantees it.
I don't know about the mobile guy but for a cut & wrao it may be something to consider.

There jalapeno and cheese brats are the best. If you use the South Hill branch ask to talk to Steve, he get you set up good. I only see him 1 a year when I take my grind in for sausage to be made and he always remembers who I am. Great people up there. I agree with Gutpile for Sonnabergs had a buddy that only ended up with abit more than 1/2 of his elk when they did it dor him.

+2 for Eggers on the South hill on 57th. You get back what you take in; no 'shared meat'. Very high marks for Steve. Go here if you can.
The Eggers in the valley on University Rd is a "shared meat" outfit. I took a deer for processing and when I came to pick it up, we checked my order form and saw they missed my jerky. So he grabbed handfulls of jerky from a big bin, weighed it, bagged the generic jerky and handed it to me. I didn't ask beforehand, so I figured I'd get only my animal and not several others.
Crown Foods is okay but expensive.
