I'll be on the Skookumchuck this weekend! Looking forward to finally having a chance to fish.

Crowded! Hopefully this rain brought those rivers up a bit, but not too much. You should have a good shot at some fish.

Can't go on Monday. Saturday is the only day I can fish. Gonna be digging clams at twin harbors in the afternoon. Would the chahalis be worth trying instead?
-
Should be super good after the weekend! Lots of sleds should hit it all the way up above diversion dam.
-
:yeah:
Heck above that, I launch mine at white bridge.

Depending on the rainfall your limited. The Chehalis above the sop might be in still. But big water and less fish up there. You might think about the upper wishkah or upper Willipa....
Check regs though...

:yeah:
But keep it a secret please.

The Chehalis was getting dirty yesterday afternoon.

The sleds also launch at white bridge and head half way up to 7400. Should be quite the goat rope for whoever shows up!

the pressure on that river is so insane these days, that it's destroyed the fishing on the upper river(by the trap). used to be almost a sure thing to hook several steelhead in a trip up there, now i'm lucky if i get 1 a year. that was only 5 or 6 years ago. they just all get caught before they make it that far now.

Agreed. Even the upper float is pretty picked over unless the water is really high.
