Title: Has anyone been to walmart lately ?

I was just in one a little over an hour ago and they have a good selection of rifle ammo (30-06, 270, 300, 243) and lots of shotgun shells. But .223/7.62 and almost all the handgun ammo is gone. They limit to three boxes when they do get ammo in.
The only pistol ammo I've been seeing is .40 and .45, but it is the expensive stuff with nickel casing.

I was at the local WalMart a few days ago, and walking past the gun counter, I noticed that their racks were full of guns of all kinds. Didn't check out what they had for ammo--I don't need any.

People are gearing up and being prepared for ammo ctrl.

Post by: h2ofowlr on February 21, 2013, 09:45:33 PM: I went this morning and they didn't have any pistol ammo of any sorts. Lots of centerfire rifle cartridges. No 5.56 / 223 or 7.62 x 39 to be had. I brick of CCI .22 shorts at $10 per box. Big time shortage everywhere right now.
