Pretty much anything with chicken from China. Guess it's been a problem for a while now. I'll try to find the name of the stuff we are getting now using Colorado chicken. Dogs seem to like it even better. Their little disks instead of jerky strips. It was a recommended alternative from our vet who warns against any Chinese poultry treats whether on recall or not.

milk bones or cheese are about the only treats I give.

just a thought about apple seeds. They contain cyanide.
Amygdalin is a glycoside toxin that combines with a gastrointestinal enzyme to produce hydrogen cyanide, the same poison that was called Cylon B and used for mass executions in concentration camps during World War II. Very often, the fruit or seed with amygdalin, and other precursors to cyanide called cyanogens, can be processed to remove the toxic substance.
