Title: Warts?...Tumors?
Post by: fatslinger on February 28, 2013, 05:19:30 PM: All 4 feet are covered in white bumps. Are these warts, tumors or birthmarks? Otherwise, it seems to be a healthy beaver. Would you skin it or bury it? I'm pretty sure it won't bother me after I cut the feet off.

Post by: castor gitter on February 28, 2013, 07:20:30 PM: I'd skin, of course I wear gloves too. Seen similar marks on a few like that before, maybe not as wide spread though. I once caught one where all the fur was coming off the belly if you rubbed it. Mind you I was doing a 48 hr check and it was single digits in the day even. Needless to say, pitched in brush and my gaunlets were washed thoroughly.

:yeah: Either the veterinary lab at WSU, or get someone from WDFG to look at it. Might be more seious than you would think... :twocents:
