I don't know why really but I think this is pretty cool and may be a very good thing. My COB has sprouted. It is lush and thick and has some deer tracks in it. Also....you can see where bambi has been chewing on it a bit. Gotta go over the cam video and see what else is checking it out.

Interesting. Glad you posted this- the camera I just checked this afternoon, the cob had all been eaten by the elk, but I noticed some of it was sprouting up, and it's only been there for 4 weeks. I didn't realize it would do that.

Salt licks are not prohibited in Wa.

Plenty of salt and minerals soaked into the ground.

Yep......if you look at the pic the left side looks lighter and more sparse....nice little healthy doe was eating on it and pulling it up. I actually pulled the camera to do some camo work on the case but will get it back up there next weekend.
