Post by: Wazukie on March 29, 2013, 08:33:47 PM: Thought I would mention that this shoot is held on state DNR land and it will be patrolled that weekend by an enforcement officer. Just a heads up to those who might be coming out for the shoot.

You don't see the sign out there because Laural Rd. is a county road, ut once you get off the road you are on state land. And on the trash part, just remember that this shoot is held in someones backyard. Some of us actually live out here. Oh ya, there is also a local WDFW Officer that lives in the area, he's been here about a year now.

I just spoke with the club president and Discovery Passes WILL NOT be needed. Chinook Archers has leased this land from the State and it covers all activities during the 3 days of the shoot. A food vendor will be at the event.

Also, while the website is down, their Facebook page is functional and has a downloadable flyer on the event.

Post by: Pueblo on April 10, 2013, 07:08:51 AM: Apparently their biggest challenge right now is a mud hole at the entrance from the paved road. They'll be getting a load of gravel dropped to fill it in on that prior Wednesday or earlier.

Regarding the Facebook issue, make sure you're looking for "Chinook Archers"....not Klickitat 3D.
