I'm trying to upload an avatar for my profile, but all I get is a white screen after clicking on update profile.   Does it need to be in a certain format (ie JPEG)?

I realize they don't have a "technical questions" sub-forum on here, but this question might be a better fit in the "virtual campfire" section if nothing else. Mods?
