Title: Rockchuck season

The season is apon us! Took 3 today with my supressed savage mkII TR, shooting rem. Subsonics. First two about 25yds, third 50yds. No pics this time i was in a hurry. I will update as the season continues..... :tup:

I find them mostly in rock slides or near orchards with rock outcrops in the hillside. Im near wenatchee so its mostly sagebrush and dry.

There is a actual season for them. Do you sell the pelts or just use for Yote food?Im newer to Moses and they are in abundance around here.One of the guys i work with feeds em.

Wrong... There was a season on them years ago, but none now.  Yellow Bellied Marmots, commonly known as Rockchucks are not protected or classed as Game Animals.  You can shoot them year-round, you just don't see them year-round.

I mostly just help the farmers out, they can do pretty good damage on fruit trees. I have heard some people keeping the carcase and using them for bait.

yeah we seen them pop up around our building about 2 weeks ago, but dissappeared before that for several months. They are all over the place though
